The point of a correct delivery.
Type of delivery.
The delivery of artworks is a very delicate phase of the purchase. The artwork must reach its destination intact and does not suffer damage during transport. I made many artworks with unique materials that must not undergo compression, come into contact with water or moisture and therefore be protected, according to their specific characteristics, in an appropriate manner. The delivery of artworks of small-format or artworks of large-format, previously preserved, framed or not framed, are always provided with a wooden external crate that will contain them.
How the Artwork it is delivered.
For delivering, the artwork is carefully wrapped first in several layers of air-bubble film and then in an extensive, transparent film which has an internal side with adhesive capacity. This kind of wrapping guarantees the first protection against shocks, water or moisture. On the two sides of the casing it will be placed two layers of expanded polystyrene, and finally, the artwork it will be protected and inserted into the wooden crate. The wooden crate guarantees the last and further protection of the artwork. It is rigid and impact-resistant, and on the outside of it will be indicated all information necessary to ensure and take into account: the transport direction, the fragility of the contents, the opening side of the crate and the carrier‘s transport documents.
Crate dimension.
The dimensions of the crate depend on how big will be the artwork once wrapped by the first protective layers. Even the smallest work (8,26x11,69 Inches) is delivered inside the wooden crate, and any cardboard box will be used to provide artworks.
Delivery of a single Artwork.
In case of delivery of a single artwork the crate will consist of an only one compartment in the most appropriate format. Select Enlarge Single Compartment and carefully observe what is described and schematized.
Delivery more Artworks simultaneously.
In case of dispatch of more than one artwork at the same time, if they have the same format and a single destination will be, at my discretion, possibly built a single multi-compartment crate. If the artworks should be of different formats, it will be necessary to prepare more than one crate. The same regards to multiple deliveries to different addresses. When the Crate will be built.
The crate will be built and prepared by the moment I receive the purchase order.
What to do once the Artwork is at destination.
On the crate, you will find the indication of the side to open. Do not attempt and open other sides of the crate. Once the plywood sheet is open, you can gently extract the previously protected artwork.
Production times.
The crate will be built and prepared in a working day.
Cost.
The cost of the crate is at the expense of the purchaser. The cost of a single crate depends on the size of the purchased and previously protected artwork. The cost of the crate varies depending on the number of artworks contained. The cost of crate will be calculated at checkout.
